FAQ

mybuxi is „ride on demand“ – mybuxi drives exactly when and where it is needed. To order a ride, the mybuxi app must be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

The tariffs are set by area. The tariffs of all operating areas can be found here.

  • Vehicle: single ticket, day ticket, 10-tickets
  • online via mybuxi-Webshop: 10-tickets, monthly / yearly abo
  • The points of sale are listed on the respective region pages.

Yes. The ride can be cancelled.

mybuxi operates with minibuses that have a limited number of seats. Specifying the number of passengers ensures that a vehicle with sufficient space is sent.

Passengers under 12 years of age can only travel in the company of adults. Exceptions are possible with parental consent forms. If required, please contact info@mybuxi.ch.

Yes, but only in Herzogenbuchsee and only to a very limited extent. In Hezogenbuchsee, it is possible to order by calling 076 761 90 90. However, when ordering by telephone, no information can be sent as to when the mybuxi will arrive at the desired starting point.

Ordering is very simple: start the app, enter the starting point and destination on the map or as text, select the number of passengers (if more than 1 person) and confirm. You can pre-book or drive straight away.

When using the app for the first time, a user account must be created so that the drivers can recognise the individual passengers.

Detailed descriptions for the app installation and ride booking can be found here:

The mybuxi can be booked spontaneously or in advance (30min. to 2 weeks before the ride).

Yes, this is possible. You can book them directly in the app and select the appropriate number of passengers. For larger groups, please contact us.

The mybuxi vehicles are marked with the same logo as the app.
Attention: in Herzogenbuchsee the vehicles are marked with “EBuxi”.

Please be punctual at the pick-up point. Unfortunately, the drivers can’t wait for late passengers, otherwise the next passengers can’t be picked up on time.

A small change, f.e. a early exit, are no problem. For bigger changes please ask your driver.

The mybuxi stops are only visible virtually in the app. As a rule, you cannot physically see the stops.

As a rule, no animals are allowed in mybuxi.

Exceptions:

  1. The animal can be transported in a bag or in a basket on the lap.
  2. Assistance dogs with ID card.

Hand luggage (= “what fits on your lap or between your legs”): free of charge.

Larger luggage in the stowage compartment: also free of charge, as long as space is available. Otherwise no transport guarantee.
If you want to be on the safe side, order and pay for an additional person per large piece of luggage. A fully occupied vehicle has only very limited storage space in the boot, approx. two to max. three large travel suitcases.

Winter equipment: In the Andermatt area there is also a ski rack at the rear of the vehicle so that skis / snowboards can be transported.

organisation

The regional association mybuxi Emmental or Belp-Gantrisch acts as employer towards the volunteer drivers.
